Underwater Wonders

Spending time in the water is one of the my favorite activities every trip here, as you can see from my last post. Today we snorkeled amongst playful sea lions and diving boobies. Here are some of the images from our snorkel at Champion Island.

School of creole fish...the one with the white stripe is a king angel fish.

One of the many friendly sea lions.

After several attempts, I finally was able to get one of these guys (a blue footed booby) underwater. Not completely in focus, but it all happens so quickly, I'm pleased to have it, complete with a fish in the booby's mouth. They hit the water at over 100 mph and are only down there for a quick moment before returning to the surface and flying away.
